Fresh intell rumor

Well, along with your well-wishes (for which, much thanks) this was enough to rouse me from the prevailing crud here at the pond . . .
According to a well-placed source needing anonymity (henceforth “AWPSNA”):
– the Grand Jury meets next week;
– three employees from Langston Law Firm have been subpoenaed, as has Hinds County Judge Bobby DeLaughter;
– co’thouse rumor has it that Joey gets indicted next week; and
– Ronald Michael was present during the F.B.I. raid on LLF, describing his role on-scene as Joey’s “friend and moral support.”
Any confirmation or refutation of any of these points handy where you are today?

Not heard that but did hear speculation about DeLaughter getting hard look.

The Clarion Ledger reported Judge Delaughter’s subpoena. I guess he told them. I have heard rumors that some of Joey’s staff have been subpoenaed as well.
The quote about Ronald sounds accurate.
Don’t you know the folks sitting on that Grand Jury would rather be elsewhere!!!

Right, Orchid, the C-L went with that on the 20th of December.
Not sure what you mean about the grand jurors, but at least I doubt they’re bored.

I don’t recall Scruggs being called to grand jury before indictment; so why are these appearances indicating indictment of Langston? I’m sure all this is clear to you lawyers; but, it’s clear as mud to me.

nowdoucit, I imagine it has more to do with whatever was in those boxes jim’s friend saw carted into the Fed’l Bldg in Tupelo. (Been waiting for this shoe to drop since at least Dec. 10, myself.)
But the subpoenas also present their recipients with either 5th-taking or perjury opportunities.

The above link should give you an idea as to where some of their money went. They even had their spouses involved.

In the above link to the political contributions I find it very interesting as to “how much in step” Joey and Timmy seemed to be. Also the two wives apparently had a lot of common ground. I wonder if those boxes had canceled checks in them?

darren@carenettech.com: The blog and its webmaster can see that you’re writing from Langston Law Firm.
I’m sorry that what you read here is so scary for you, but I understand why. Let me just warn you, though, that should what you’re trying to say here go from abusive to threatening, you’ll be in an even worse situation than you face now. We know where to find the FBI too, you see.
Maybe you’re better off not reading this blog. In any case, you can stop trying to comment — that ain’t gonna happen.

That’s funny. It’s pretty obvious that Scruggs and company didn’t understand how easy it is to find, or trace, or retrieve e-mails, and that they still don’t.
That explains a lot of the, “If I don’t understand how you caught me, I’m not really caught,” attitude they are putting out.
